Every guest needs a friendly "howdy" from this adorable cow. This do-it-yourself kit comes with all the pieces to make this cute door hanger. Paint it or stain it; glue it together and hang on your door! Guaranteed to make you smile each time you see it.
This kit includes a wood round made from birch plywood (1/4" thick) and all the cow pieces are cut using MDF board (1/8" thick).
Tip: Use a roller with a high density sponge to make painting easier. Use a very light coat of paint so that it doesn't drip over the edges. You can also use a dry stencil brush.
To help hold the small wood pieces steady while painting; lay down a strip or two of painters tape or masking tape. Lay the tape FACE UP on your table and secure at each end with another piece of tape. Stick the small pieces to the exposed tape and carefully paint the surfaces. The tape will help prevent the pieces from moving while you paint.
Secure pieces to wood base using wood glue. / Drill holes for a ribbon or use the included hanger kit (no drilling required)
Like that stencils are reusable but not sure how often I would reuse as there are so many stencils to choose from I would probably want to change. I use tacky spray to help hold stencil in place and it is a job removing that. Almost wish the stencils were sticky even if they could only be used once but would have to be less expensive if only one use. I have done stencils with Board and Brush and their stencils are sticky but one time use.
